Micah Mazzccua is available to the Nebraska football team after suspension
The Nebraska football team has had an interesting go of it lately when it comes to what it considers one of its best weapons on the offensive line. Maybe the fact that he’s considered one of its best weapons is why there’s been quite a back and forth.
Or maybe, head coach Matt Rhule sees a player that needs help and understanding, as long as there are also lines that can’t be crossed. Maybe that’s why Micah Mazzccua is still a member of the Huskers despite the fact that he’s had more than a few issues that led to him apparently being suspended a few times.
The Nebraska football head coach announced on Monday that rumors Mazzccua was off the team were greatly exaggerated. That despite one report for Rivals seeing the offensive lineman at the Omaha airport getting on a flight to San Francisco while the rest of the team was in West Lafayette, Indiana.
Rhule said that the offensive lineman was suspended last week. Hence him not traveling with the team. However he’s also been reinstated and is available to play in the Rutgers game next Saturday.
Nebraska football has its monster offensive lineman back on the roster
The back and forth with Micah Mazzccua has certainly been an interesting one. Here’s hoping that whatever he needed to get figured out, was figured out. He was also unavailable against Northern Iowa but was available against Illinois.
Despite being able and even warming up against the Illini, he never got into that game.
One this is certain. The Nebraska football team could use someone on the offensive line who can push people around, especially in the running game.
