While the Nebraska Cornhuskers were bested by the Michigan Wolverines, one of the most notable moments from the matchup happened just as the play clock hit zero at the end of the first half.
Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola scrambled across the backfield, heaved a Hail Mary into the air, and connected with wide receiver Jacory Barney Jr. for a 52-yard touchdown, silencing the noise from the small Michigan crowd that had traveled down to Lincoln.
The touchdown tied the game at 17 points apiece, and Raiola had found his swagger. This new angle of the Hail Mary made the quarterback's throw look even more impressive.

Raiola completed nearly 75 percent of his passes throughout the matchup, earning 308 yards and three touchdowns through the air. His only passing error came when he threw an interception toward the end of the first quarter.
However, Raiola's impressive performance wasn't enough to hold off the Wolverines, especially as the Michigan defensive line earned seven sacks, dropping Raiola for a loss of 49 yards on the ground.
It came down to the last few possessions, especially after Raiola led the Cornhuskers down the field in less than two and a half minutes for a touchdown, bringing Nebraska within three points of Michigan's total.
Then, the Wolverines ran the remaining minute and thirty-three seconds off the clock, preventing Raiola from taking the field again.
It wasn't a bad game by the Cornhuskers, despite the offensive line's struggles and the final result of the matchup. However, the highlight for Nebraska was undeniably the Hail Mary throw by Raiola to close out the first half.
This week, the Cornhuskers are on a bye before they take on the Michigan State Spartans in Week 6. Nebraska and MSU are scheduled to kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 4, and the game will be aired on FS1.
