The Nebraska women’s basketball team could smell it. You could tell they could almost taste the upset. But, with 30 seconds to go and the ball, a drive to the hoop by Britt Prince that was called an offensive charge effectively ended any real hopes at a game winning rally. The Huskers and Louisville Cardinals spent most of Friday evening going back and forth, with one team or another going on a run that often made it look like they were taking control. NU’s last run had them up 56-52 with just over three minutes to go.
However, the Nebraska women’s basketball team couldn’t hold that advantage, eventually going down 59-58 when Prince tried to take the lead. It was a good decision, though with the open lane she started with, a jump shot might have been a better decision.
Nebraska women’s basketball team falls just short of NCAA Tournament comeback

Markowski and wondering what’s next for youngsters like Prince.
