Will Nebraska volleyball players Bergen Reilly, Harper Murray, and Andi Jackson take advantage of the extra year of eligibility given to them by the new 5-for-5 rule put into place by the NCAA?
Reilly and Jackson have both been asked specifically whether they're considering doing so. Both have said that it's far too early to answer one way or the other. Knowing that, it seems likely that Husker fans should prepare to enjoy the 2026 season as though it were their last in Lincoln. When they do leave, it's certainly going to hurt, as demonstrated yet again by Big Ten Network analyst Emily Ehman's annual EE20 list.
Nebraska volleyball stars Bergen Reilly, Andi Jackson and Harper Murray all crack EE20 top four
The EE20 ranks the best players in the Big Ten, and while it's not exactly a surprise, Ehman has the three Nebraska volleyball superstars very high on her list. In fact, she has the trio in her top five. Reilly is ranked as the No. 1 player in the conference, with Jackson coming in right behind her at the No. 2 spot. Harper Murray gets the "snub" here if anyone can really claim she got snubbed. Penn State's Kennedy Martin comes in third, and then Murray comes in as the fourth-best player in the conference.

Reilly continues to impress every analyst in the sport. She's coming off a season in which she earned Big Ten Player of the Year honors and was a finalist for National Player of the Year (and really should have won). Ehman laid out her case for why the Nebraska star is once again considered the best player in the conference and one of the best in the entire country.

"Reilly was a top player on my EE20 last season, and next to nothing has changed other than Reilly to level up her game even more somehow," the analyst said. "Her accolades are a laundry list of awards if that tells you anything about how good Riley's been since coming into Nebraska three seasons ago. That includes a three-time All-American, three-time Big Ten Setter of the Year, and 2025 ABCA Setter of the Year and Big Ten Player of the Year, the first setter to do so since 2018."
Pairing her up with Jackson and Harper is a deadly trio that the Cornhuskers need to find a way to finally use to their ultimate advantage and finally win the national title.
