The Nebraska Cornhuskers are heading to a bowl game for the second year in a row under head coach Matt Rhule. Right now, Nebraska is sitting at 7-4 with one more regular-season game against the Iowa Hawkeyes, but the Cornhuskers have secured a winning season for the second year in a row, the first time since the Bo Pelini era.

While this season has seen its fair share of ups and downs, especially with injuries, the Cornhuskers have something to be proud of. There will probably be some tough roads ahead, especially with the rumors of quarterback Dylan Raiola potentially entering the transfer portal, but Rhule has still been able to turn in a solid season and continue building for the future.

With the Cornhuskers being bowl-eligible for the second year in a row, it is time to start looking at who they could be playing and where they will be traveling. Right now, Nebraska sits at 4-4 in the Big Ten, but has the ability to move up to 5-4 with a win over Iowa this weekend.

Here is a ranking of how Big Ten teams get sent to bowl games:

1. Citrus Bowl vs. SEC
2. Reliaquest Bowl: vs. SEC
3. Las Vegas Bowl vs. former Pac-12
4. Music City Bowl vs. SEC
5. Pinstripe Bowl vs. ACC
6. Rate Bowl: vs. Big 12
7. gameAbove Sports Bowl vs. MAC

Granted, teams that make the College Football Playoff will be removed from the rankings, so with the Cornhuskers being ranked eighth in the Big Ten right now, they would most likely be in the Pinstripe Bowl if three teams make the CFP.

There is still a lot to be figured out with one regular-season game left, however, so here are some predictions on where Nebraska will go for a bowl game from the national media.
