Dylan Raiola knows his resemblance to Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes is uncanny, and he certainly has created quite a relationship with the NFL veteran. A relationship like that is huge for any young quarterback, and Raiola knows that, but he also wants people to know he is his own person, with his own traits.

In a discussion posted by CBS Sports, Raiola was speaking with his teammates, and one asked him about the validity of his relationship with Mahomes, and the Nebraska quarterback put it all out there. Raiola knows that he and Mahomes look alike, but it is all just a coincidence how alike they really are. Both guys played baseball, both are quarterbacks that wear the number 15 on their jersey, and sure, they have the same haircut.

Raiola's teammates actually laughed at the fact that they saw Raiola had the haircut and facial hair before Mahomes did, which who knows about that one. However, Raiola also said he can't blame the big guy upstairs for the fact that they look alike.

Not only does Raiola have a relationship with Mahomes, but also with longtime NFL quarterback Matthew Stafford and even mentioned he has begun talking to the GOAT Tom Brady. Having those relationships have helped him learna nd develop his game.

The key words there are his game. Raiola wants it known that while he and Mahomes are similar in a lot of ways, he doesn't want to be known as "mini-Mahomes." Raiola is trying to be his own person because, honestly, there will never be another Patrick Mahomes, just like there will never be another Tom Brady or Matthew Stafford.

Raiola has shown that he has the talent to be an amazing quarterback and while he is learning a lot from Mahomes, he also is creating his own style of play.
