Nebraska has been after five-star tight end Ahmad Hudson for quite some time now, putting a lot into recruiting him. Even four-star quarterback commit Trae Taylor has done some his own recruiting for the Huskers when it comes to Hudson.
Now, with the official visit season approaching and recruits deciding which programs to visit, Nebraska is hoping to seal the deal with Hudson, but there are other schools in the mix. Hudson announced that he does have three official visits set already, one with LSU, another with USC, and finally one with Nebraska.
While it feels like the Huskers are the favorite, now head coach Matt Rhule has to battle Lincoln Riley and Lane Kiffin for Hudson's recruitment.

Ahmad Hudson has more visits planned around his trip to Nebraska
Not only will Rhule be battling USC and LSU, but Hudson plans to schedule official visits with his other finalist schools: Miami, Texas A&M, and Missouri. With a five-star talent like Hudson, it wasn't like other schools were going to just back off because of his connection with the Huskers.
Hudson is a five-star tight end who is ranked the No. 18 player in the Class of 2027, the No. 1 tight end in the class, and the No 3 player in the state of Louisiana, according to 247Sports. Hudson is not only a star on the football field, but on the basketball court as well, as he also comes in as a four-star forward.
Hudson could decide to be a dual-sports athlete in college, and if that is the case, Nebraska basketball chose the right time to have a great season. Fred Hoiberg would probably love to have a talent like Hudson on his roster as well, but that all comes down to which sport he picks, and no offense to the basketball team, but Rhule is hopeful that the sport is football.
