The Nebraska football team won't get to lick its wounds from the Indiana loss for long. They have their toughest opponent of the entire season up next. And it looks like Las Vegas doesn't give them much chance for a bounce back game.

In fact, the Huskers are expected to get their doors blown off for a second straight week. Though going up against Ohio State, who is still competing for a Big Ten championship, it's not hard to understand why NU is a big underdog to OSU.

The Nebraska football team has opened up as a 25.5-point dog to Ohio State. And it certainly seems as if that spread could get a lot worse as the week goes on.

Nebraska football not given much chance of a win

The 25.5-point spread is easily the biggest in the Big Ten for this week and one of the biggest in any conference. However, while it stands out because it almost guarantees that the Huskers are going to lose two in a row, there is the Oregon-Illinois game that stands out.

The Ducks are considered 21.5-point favorites as they'll take on Illinois. That might indeed be a bit surprising for the 6-1 Illini who are fresh off a dominant win over Michigan.

Meanwhile, it feels like most Nebraska football fans are looking past Ohio State and have already marked that down as a loss. Instead, they're looking at the game against UCLA at home on November 2 as the game that will make or break this season.
