Jordan Campbell might currently be committed to the Miami Hurricanes, but the Nebraska football team wants to change that.

Want to and might are two different things, but it’s clear that the Huskers have been putting on the full court press on the 4-star linebacker. Now the Cornhuskers are getting a visit from the Miami native and that could mean that they have their foot in the door at the very least.

The good news is that Campbell is going to come see what Lincoln is all about. The bad news is that the Nebraska football team isn’t the only one that seems like it’s driving a wedge between the 2026 prospect and the squad that currently has his pledge.

Nebraska football still pressing to flip Hurricane commit

The Huskers aren’t just getting in on Campbell the last few weeks. In fact, they’ve been working to flip him since last August. However, they might finally be making some headway in that regard.

Of course, Campbell has also gone on the record as still saying that “Miami is home” so while he’s looking at other teams, the Hurricanes still have his heart.

“I have a visit to Nebraska set up and I am hearing a lot from them and Missouri, so we will see,” he recently told On3

Now it’s going to be all about what Matt Rhule, John Butler and company do once they get Campbell into town. The linebacker is headed to Lincoln on March 29. It’s the second time he’ll see the Nebraska footbal team since January and that’s a good sign no matter how you slice it.
