Nebraska football star had hilarious parting shot for BC after Pinstripe Bowl

There was a bit of bad blood between the Nebraska football team and Boston College during the bowl, and some carried over after the game.

While the Nebraska football team had to fly into New York since it was located halfway across the country, Boston College had a travel advantage going to Yankee Stadium for the Pinstripe Bowl. They could make the three-hour trip on a team bus, allowing them more comfort and better control over how they got into and out of the city.

Of course, that three-hour bus ride probably wasn’t all that pleasant after losing 20-15 to the Huskers. Especially considering some bad blood broke out late in the contest.

After the Nebraska football game, the bad blood led to one Husker defender shooting a little acid Boston College’s way. Elijah Jeudy was quite happy to help the Husker log their first winning season in almost a decade, and he wasn’t afraid to show it.

Right after the Pinstripe Bowl, Hail Varsity had a video of Jeudy talking about how everyone was soaking wet and cold, and now they needed to take a three-hour bus ride back home. It was clear he was more than a little happy to cause some more misery with the victory.

If that wasn’t funny enough, Jeudy saw the video of him talking smack on Twitter a little while later and amplified it, quote-tweeting the video and adding, “I wanna know how that ride home went.”

Jeudy had every right to be pumped up after the victory. He was part of a Nebraska football front that wreaked havoc on Boston College’s passing game. While he logged only one tackle, he also had two quarterback hurries and recovered a fumble.

Jeudy’s 30 snaps were also the most he saw this season and could be a nice preview of the 2025 season, considering he’s already announced he’s returning for one more season.
