Nebraska football commit guts his way through injury in high school finale
Conor Booth has spent the majority of the 2024 season showing just why the Nebraska football made sure and added him to their commitment list for the 2025 cycle. Even when playing with injury, the running back showed a toughness that Husker coaches will almost certainly value.
Booth and his Bishop Neumann teammates were trying to win the C-2 class state title. However, perhaps in part because Booth was hurt, they fell short to Norfolk Catholic. Booth, while trying to run with torn tendons in his left knee and left ankle amassed 49 yards and a touchdown.
That of course is far short of the usual game for the Nebraska footbal commit. That performance allowed him to finish his final high school season 45 yards short of 3,000 yards. He also had a whopping 50 touchdowns.
Nebraska football commit grits out high school finale
Because of his participation at a lower level of college football, Booth wasn’t highly recruited out these past few years. In fact, the Huskers are the only FBS offer.
However, it’s clear that Booth is one of the best offensive athletes in the state.
Most recruiting analysts believe that while Booth put up insane numbers in high school on the offensive side of the ball, his future with the Nebraska football team will be on the defensive side, possibly as a linebacker. Of course, first, he’ll need to make a recovery from the torn tendons that hampered the end of his final high school season.
