Nebraska football bowl predictions start rolling in ahead of Iowa game
The Nebraska football team knows that it’s going bowling. Just where it might end up going is still very much up in the air.
While most Husker fans have voiced their preference to go to a New Year’s Bowl, that might not be in the cards. It could be especially difficult to accomplish that should the Huskers lose to Iowa on Friday.
So is there a concrete answer to where Nebraska footbal will spend its first bowl game since 2016? Not really. That’s the beauty of this time of year, especially with the way the playoffs can shake things up. While there is no consensus, there are some games that seem more likely than others.
Where Nebraska football will go bowling after Iowa
- 247Sports: Huskers take on LSU in the Music City Bowl held in Nashville on Dec. 30.
- CBSSports: Vs. Texas Tech in the Rate Bowl held in Phoenix, on Dec. 26.
- ESPN: Vs. Georgia Tech in the Pinstripe Bowl held in New York City on Dec. 28 or vs. Georgia Tech in the Duke's Mayo Bowl held in Charlotte, on Jan. 3.
- Athlon: Vs. Ole Miss in the Music City Bowl held in Nashville on Dec. 30.
- USA Today: Vs. Pittsburgh in the Pinstripe Bowl held in New York City on Dec. 28.
- College Football News: Vs. Syracuse in the Pinstripe Bowl held in New York City on Dec. 28.
- Action Network: Vs. Syracuse in the Duke's Mayo Bowl Bowl held in Charlotte on Jan. 3.
Three bowl games are the most likely destination for Nebraska football and with my personal preference being the Music City Bowl, things are looking good.
