While the Associated Press voters weren't all that impressed by Nebraska football's blowout win over Akron, Zips head coach Joe Moorhead certainly was. Of course, his comments after the game didn't convey that he was impressed; it came off more as being downtrodden. Whatever descriptor you want to use, Moorhead knows that his team was absolutely obliterated.

After the game, Moorhead talked about how bad his team got run over by a Huskers' team that even saw a player just out of surgery absolutely dominate the offensive line. He was so upset about the loss, he didn't hold back and let the profanity fly in his postgame press conference.

Joe Moorhead admits Nebraska beat Akron 'in every facet of the game'

"The first thing I take away is that was an a-- kicking of epic proportions in every facet of the game," Moorhead said to start his comments to the media after the 68-0 loss to the Nebraska football team.

"We knew going in that Nebraska was very talented on all three phases of the game and extremely well coached. As Coach (Matt) Rhule has exhibited throughout his career. For an upset to occur the favorite has to do a little bit wrong and the underdog has to do everything right, and neither of those things happened."

Moorhead added that he saw an Akron team that didn't give up. However, they simply couldn't hang with the Huskers.

"I learned that our kids will stay competitive. They continue fighting for four quarters. But there were two different levels of football being played out there today, and I think that was very obvious."

It stands to reason that Houston Christian head coach Jason Bachtel will have similar thoughts this Saturday when his Huskies try to stop a Nebraska football team firing on all cylinders.
