The Nebraska Cornhuskers softball team's record isn't great, to start the year, but that's mostly because their early schedule is padded with tough opponents. Superstar Jordy Frahm and company once again showed how good they could be this season when they toppled UCF on Saturday, 6-0.

The No. 11 Huskers improved to 5-4 with the win, and it was clearly the best game of the season for Frahm. She threw 7 innings of shutout ball while also going 2-for-2 with 3 RBI. The Huskers continue to play a non-conference schedule packed with some of the best teams in the country as they look to return to the postseason and maybe even the Women's College Softball World Series.

Nebraska Cornhuskers basketball gets back on the winning side

After a rough stretch that saw Fred Hoiberg's squad lose three of four (mainly because they played three Top 15 teams), the Huskers put one back in the winner's column, as they toppled the Northwestern Wildcats 68-49. The Nebraska Cornhuskers struggled mightily in the first half, but they ran away with the game after the break. In the process, they improved to 22-3 and 11-3 in the Big Ten.

Nebraska baseball stays undefeated

The Nebraska baseball team opened its season with a 12-2 win over UCONN, and while Saturday's 7-4 win over Northeastern wasn't as dominant, the Huskers are starting the season off well, a big need for a team in a Big Ten that isn't expected to be very good in 2026. Next up is Grand Canyon, Sunday night, and then Stanford on Monday afternoon.

Nebraska football has a new offer to worry about with Amir Brown

The Nebraska football team has a very good running back commit in the 2027 class. Amir Brown seems to be pretty solid for the Huskers. Still, there's a new offer to worry about after he was offered by the Alabama Crimson Tide earlier this week. There's plenty of good teams after Brown, but it feels like Kalen DeBoer's program is a new kind of threat.

Former Nebraska football coach goes back to the NFL

Now that Terry Bradden is no longer with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, he's back in the NFL and back with the Kansas City Chiefs. The former defensive line coach is now once again an assistant defensive line coach with the team he's already won a Super Bowl with. In effect, he took a one-year hiatus from the NFL to see what the college game was like.
