There is something about how Will Bolt's team plays in the Big Ten Tournament, at least after that first game on their slate. For the second straight season, the Nebraska Cornhuskers baseball team entered the tournament looking like an extreme underdog. For the second consecutive year, they had a hiccup in their first game and then went on a run the likes of which even the best teams in the country couldn't stop.
Last year, the Huskers got run-ruled in their opening game and went undefeated to take the crown. This year, they needed a miscue by the Michigan State right fielder to win their first game in 10 innings. Since then, they knocked off Oregon 7-3 and then Penn State 6-3 in an impromptu doubleheader on Saturday.
On Sunday afternoon, the Nebraska Cornhuskers baseball team shut out UCLA, the second Top 15 team it beat on the way to the Big Ten Tournament Title, 5-0. It was a team that looked like it was on the outside looking in for the Regionals. Now, they're one of the most interesting teams in the tournament.
Nebraska Cornhuskers softball season comes to sad end in Super Regional

After winning the first game of the Knoxville Super Regional, the Nebraska Cornhuskers lost the next two, including a 1-0 game on Sunday that was decided by a solo home run.
The analyst believes Nebraska will top Vegas win totals
The Nebraska Cornhuskers football team recently had their win total set at 7.5, and most people think the season will indeed go something like the one where the over/under is sitting.
However, The Athletic's Bruce Feldman believes the Huskers have a chance to be quite a bit better. In fact, he believes there's a chance the Nebraska Cornhuskers could win nine or ten games if everything goes right.
