On Tuesday night, the Nebraska basketball team will play its biggest game of the year. The question is, will the No. 5 Huskers have Braden Frager ready to go against the No. 3 Wolverines?

The answer to that question is: Maybe?

The Nebraska sixth man has been one of the best players for the Huskers. He's also someone who has added a ton of energy and focus when he gets on the court. That energy will be missed if he's not able to go in Ann Arbor. The good news is that there is a chance he could play.

Nebraska basketball injury update: Braden Frager a game-time decision vs Michigan

On Monday evening, Nebraska basketball head coach Fred Hoiberg said that Frager (who suffered a sprained ankle in the Huskers' game against Washington) would be a "game time decision" on Tuesday night. His comments seem to leave the door open for the forward to see at least some action.

"Braden’s making great progress," Hoiberg said. "He got a really good workout in yesterday. Did some things again today. So we’ll have him as a game-time decision for tomorrow."

Unfortunately, it's possible it won't really be a game-time decision. Hoiberg said the Huskers were leaving for Ann Arbor on Monday night. He was non-committal on whether Braden Frager would travel with the team.

"We’re still making that decision with him right now," he added. "We’ll talk with the doctors before. We don’t leave for a couple of hours. So we’ll make that decision."

For now, there's no confirmation whether Braden Frager is with his Nebraska teammates. All of this sounds more like making Michigan wait and see just like Husker fans. Everyone will find out at 6pm on Tuesday night on Peacock.

Update: Nebraska has officially listed Braden Frager as "out" on its availability report so the Huskers will have to hope he might make it back for this weekend's game against Illinois.
