This time last year, Nebraska was gaining a commitment from one 2027 quarterback who has become the foundation of the 2027 recruiting class. Then, three-star quarterback Trae Taylor, who is now one of the top QBs in the 2027 class, is still committed to the Huskers to this day.
Taylor has been adamant about his loyalty to Nebraska, going so far as to move to Omaha for his senior high school football season before going to Nebraska. There is one school, though, that is now threatening that commitment from Taylor, and things are starting to move quickly.
It was reported that Ohio State was making a move to try to flip Taylor's commitment from Nebraska, and while many didn't believe there was cause for panic, now there might be with a new update.
Trae Taylor's new dialogue with Ohio State should have Nebraska fans petrified

On3 and Rivals insider Steve Wiltfong spoke more on the ongoing story of Ohio State in pursuit of flipping Taylor. Not only has Ohio State set its sights on flipping Taylor, but they have started to put together an NIL package for the four-star QB, as well as figuring out hw he will fit into the offense.
Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day has yet to get a quarterback in the Class of 2027, and it seems like Taylor is the one he wants. Ohio State is going all in with the offer to Taylor, even though he is a Nebraska commit.
This could be a worry for Nebraska fans as the Buckeyes have the money to make a hefty offer to Taylor, and this will be his true test of faith in the Huskers. Will Taylor take a bigger package and go with the Buckeyes, or will he stay true to Nebraska?
Only time will tell, as there is hope Taylor sticks with the Huskers, but Ohio State is going to make this interesting to say the least.
