Indiana's dominance may have just complicated Dylan Raiola's transfer portal future

The Indiana Hoosiers already caused problems for Dylan Raiola this season when he was at Nebraska, and now they could have just done it again for him in the Transfer Portal. The Hoosiers put an absolute beatdown on the Ducks last night in the Semifinal of the College Football Playoff, beating Oregon 56-22.

That loss was certainly not the way the Ducks wanted to end their season, and it might not be the way quarterback Dante Moore wants to end his Oregon career. Moore is expected to head to the 2026 NFL Draft, but he could change his mind after last night's game, which could cause problems for Raiola.

Dylan Raiola's potential Oregon plans could be derailed by possible Dante Moore NFL decision

The Transfer Portal has been open for a week now, and former Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola still does not have a place to call home. There were thoughts that Raiola would be one of the top quarterbacks in the portal, and one of the first to go, but it has actually been the complete opposite.

There have been rumors that Raiola was in talks with Oregon, and the Ducks were his top choice; however, things could be changing based on Dante Moore's decision. Moore, right now, is projected to go No. 2 in the 2026 NFL Draft, but that is all dependent on him declaring for the draft.

Even with his play against Indiana in the CFP Semifinal, Moore's NFL stock is still high, so he very well could decide to leave Eugene. If Moore, however, decides to stay with Oregon, that doesn't completely close the door to the Ducks for Raiola.

Raiola could still pick Oregon, but he probably wouldn't have the starting position and may even have to consider redshirting for a year. Right now, things are very up in the air for Raiola, and if Oregon isn't his move, he needs to make another one soon.
