As it turns out, the Nebraksa basketball program will have a couple of players representing it during the NBA All Star Weekend. Earlier this week, former Husker great Keisei Tominaga was announced as being a part of the Up Next Game as a fan choice.
Now there’s a second ex-Cornhusker taking part in the weekend, as Bryce McGowens got an invite, even if neither will be playing in the actual All-Star game.
McGowens is representing the Nebraska basketball team as part of the 2025 Castrol Rising Stars. The annual showcase features top first- and second-year NBA players and NBA G League standouts.
