ESPN radio host tears Scott Frost a new one for blaming Nebraska for his failure

This ESPN radio host was really not happy about what Scott Frost had to say about his time at Nebraska.

Ever since Scott Frost uttered that one sentence about what he learned from his time at Nebraska, there seems to be two sides forming. Those that agree with him and those that don't, and it is very clear which side Nebraska fans stand on. Frost really blamed his failure at Nebraska on it not being the right job, even though he was the one leading the ship and was only able to go 16-31 with the Cornhuskers.

For one ESPN radio host, he felt Frost's comments were absolutely horrific and really put the head coach in a bad light. ESPN radio host Matt Schick spoke on the B1G This AM podcast about Frost's Nebraska comments and really put the former Husker head coach in his place.

"It was the wrong job because he wasn't cut out for it," Schick said. " He couldn't handle the fish bowl, he didn't conduct himself in the right way, he wasn't built for that job.

Schick believed that in many ways, Frost was correct in his statement, but not in the way Frost probably meant it. Schick feels like Frost just wasn't ready for that caliber of a job with that caliber of a team. He even took a dig at UCF, the level of the program that they are by talking about being in Orlando.

"He needs to be in a place like Orlando where you're always second fiddle to Mickey Mouse," Schick said.

Matt Schick completely went off on Scott Frost over Nebraska comments

Schick's dig at UCF and Orlando was crazy, and in a way, he isn't fully wrong with the state that the UCF football program is in right now. They are still fairly new to being a Power Conference team and still have a lot of learning and growing to do, and Frost can't handle more than that being with a program right now.

Frost had an absolutely dreadful time with Nebraska, finishing with a 16-31 record, and still, the administration handled things in the best way, and Nebraska fans moved on pretty quickly. Frost had it easy leaving Nebraska, and then to go and make a comment like that, making it seem like it wasn't his fault at all, I don't think so.

Schick did say he hopes this is not how Frost meant for his comment to be taken, but who knows? It seems like Frost has a pretty bad taste in his mouth when it comes to the Cornhuskers.
