It should come as no surprise that Nebraska football quarterback Dylan Raiola is making some serious coin in 2025. However, just how much money he's making is raising eyebrows as one report claims he's one of the highest paid QBs in the entire country.
Raiola is entering the fall as one of the hottest names in the sport, with many analysts believing he's going to improve immensely on a 2024 that was very good for a true freshman, but left some people wanting more. Considering he was the top quarterback in his recruiting class, he's always been a hot commodity, NIL-wise, but he's now able to add revenue-sharing dollars right from the university to his bank account.
Dylan Raiola bringing home $3 million as Nebraska football's starting QB
According to On3's Pete Nakos, the Nebraska football quarterback is slated to make somewhere in the neighborhood of $3 million this year when all is said and done.
"A source close to Dylan Raiola told On3 that the rising sophomore will make more than $3 million this season," Nakos wrote. "That figure is an all-in number between roster value and NIL deals, including partnerships with adidas and Panini."
Some might take the news with a grain of salt since Nakos isn't getting his numbers from official reporting. Instead, someone in Raiola's camp provided the dollar amount, and one has to assume that person is the quarterback's agent. It's in that agent's best interest for his client to look like he's making a bundle of dough.
On the other hand, official NIL numbers are still not something that is reported remotely consistently. Schools don't have to say precisely what they are issuing to players in revenue share either. For now, Nakos' number is the best estimate for Dylan Raiola, and it shows his worth to the Nebraska football team quite well.
