There’s very little doubt that Nebraska football quarterback Dylan Raiola is a star in the making. That is if he’s not already a star.

That he’s a name to watch when it comes to bigger NIL deals was demonstrated again on Wednesday when Raiola signed a new deal with Adidas. That company is, by the way, already a company that works closely with Nebraska. That had to at least be an opening towards getting a deal done with the quarterback who will be just a sophomore when NU kicks off its 2025 season.

Dylan Raiola signs NIL deal with Adidas, becomes face of brand in college football

The Nebraska football star joins one player he’s gone head to head against, as Raiola is the newest Adidas college ambassador since the apparel company signed Heisman winner and former Colorado Buffaloes star, Travis Hunter.

Hunter was part of adidas' NFL rookie class that included the likes of top picks Abdul Carter, Jalon Walker, Shemar Stewart and Emeka Egbuka, among others. That’s quite the group for Dylan Raiola to be a part of as he just gets ready for his second year in college football.

Raiola will now be the face of the brand's college football presence as he continues to wear the adidas adizero cleats on-field for Nebraska and will represent the company off the field in a variety of brand marketing campaigns.

Nebraska has had adidas as an apparel sponsor since 1995. Former Husker Lexi Rodriguez signed an NIL deal with adidas in 2023. Another current collegiate athlete, USC track star Dajaz DeFrand who graduated from Lincoln High in Nebraska, recently signed with adidas but competes for a Nike school.

"We're looking for that next generation of elite athlete, and Dylan certainly fits the bill,” Adidas said in a press release. “He's one of the most promising young quarterbacks in the country and his commitment to building a special legacy at Nebraska makes him an ideal addition to our roster."
