Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule took to X (formerly known as Twitter) yesterday and posted something pretty cryptic, but Nebraska fans seemed to eat it up. The post was about how people have made money on negativity too much lately, and their time is over. Was he talking about the college football talking heads? Was he talking about what someone has said about Nebraska? No one really knows, but the fans are backing him anyway.
Too many people have profited financially off of negativity and despair. Their time is over

Looking at the comments in Rhule's post, fans are emphasizing what he is saying and completely agreeing with it. Even if this post isn't about football or Nebraska at all, fans resonated with it.
Tell em dawg! Let’s go win a natty

This fan believes that Rhule is right and wants to put behind all the negativity and have Nebraska go and win a National Championship. Something tells me is Nebraska wins a National Championship, a lot of haters are going to go into hiding.
I do not know exactly what you mean but I love the bite coach.

This fan also seems to be confused as to what Rhule is talking about, but loves that Rhule is speaking out about whatever it is he is feeling.
We known exactly what you mean Coach

Some seem to be aware of exactly what Rhule is talking about and are on board as well.
While no one may know what Rhule is talking about, there are some things that could be the culprit of this cryptic message. A lot of signs point towards Nebraska's recruiting, which has taken off a bit more as of late.
Could Matt Rhule's cryptic message be about his latest recruiting?
ESPN's Eli Lederman released his rankings for college football recruiting in the month of June, basically, teams that did well and teams that "whiffed," as he said in his words. Nebraska fell under the teams that whiffed in the month of June, which many believe to be the opposite of what happened.
Rhule secured eight commitments in the month of June, and sure, it may not be the most of any other team, but the commitments they did secure were top-tier ones that will make a real impact on the program in the future. Nebraska didn't win every recruiting battle, and it wasn't expected that they would, but they won some many thought they wouldn't, so let's not think that Nebraska had a horrible month of June. Let's not forget that July is here and recruiting isn't done yet.
