Cincinnati's hilariously bad hype video ahead of Nebraska might be worst ever

With the Nebraska football team ready to kick off the 2025 season against Cincinnati, both schools are trying to put their best social media foot forward. If the Bearcats' Wednesday night hype video is any indication, the Huskers are going to win the game by a million.

In the video, the post starts out with a black screen, and what is probably Bearcats head coach Scott Satterfield giving a rather emotionless speech and attempt to talk trash to NU by saying he both eats corn for breakfast, but also, no one likes corn. As he gives the speech, the video alternates between a black screen and smash cuts of Cincinnati highlights.

The hype clip turning Nebraska–Cincinnati into bulletin-board material

Eventually, his speech ends, and a Sheryl Crow song plays while the school apparently shows off the uniforms it will wear for the game against Nebraska. The whole thing comes off as something that was a rough draft of the video that was supposed to be posted online; however, it's still up as of Thursday morning, so every indication is that they meant to post it.

The internet was not kind to Cincinnati for posting the oddly low-quality video.

"I can’t even watch this. Was it made on VHS?" One Husker fan commented. "Is this the 80's?"

"This was genuinely awful," another wrote. That comment got its own reply by someone saying, "You're underselling awful."

"Yea im hammering Nebraska," wrote an Ohio State fan after watching the whole video.

What makes the Bearcats' video even more hilariously bad is when its compared to the hype video the Nebraska football team released on Thursday morning. Watch both and then decide which one brings on the hype and which brings on the laughs.
