Nebraska's recruiting this past week has been quite the rollercoaster. The Transfer Portal is proving to be even more chaotic than some would have thought, and now, a 2027 recruit is teasing a commitment to the Cornhuskers.

Head coach Matt Rhule has been after five-star tight end Ahmad Hudson for quite a while now, as have other programs. Even Nebraska quarterback commit Trae Taylor has been working hard to try to get Hudson to officially commit to the Cornhuskers. However, a recent social media post is giving fans hope that a decision could be coming soon.

Hudson is currently at the Navy All-American Bowl, getting ready to compete with other elite recruits in the country. In a video posted by CBSSports' Tom Loy, Hudson is hinting that the Huskers will get a little something special.

"Checking in at Navy All-American, Ahmad Hudson. Nebraska fans might get something special today, you know what I'm saying, go Huskers," Hudson said in the video.

It is a very real possibility that the "something special" Hudson is talking about is a commitment sometime, maybe after the game. Hudson is currently the No. 19 player in the country, the No. 1 tight end in the Class of 2027, and the No. 2 player in the state of Louisiana, according to 247Sports Composite recruiting rankings.

Rhule has yet to gain a five-star commitment for the Class of 2027, but the Huskers already have the No. 5 class for 2027 with six commits. Right now, the offense is looking good in this class with Taylor at quarterback, four-star athlete Tory Pittman III, three-star wide receiver Antayvious Ellis, and three-star running back Amir Brown.

Hudson would be the perfect addition to that lineup. Now Huskers fans are going to be constantly checking their phones to see if an announcement is made by the young tight end.
