The Nebraska football team is not in line for a playoff spot and there's really no way it could be at this point. However, the Big Ten is very much in the latest College Football Playoff Projections thanks to the conference's teams taking care of business while plenty of other squads struggled.

Matt Rhule talked about four Big Ten teams getting into the mix back when the season started. While his Huskers aren't one of them, he was spot on about just how good the conference is. That loss to Indiana, while still embarassing looks a little better every week as the Hoosiers remain undefeated and take out all comers.

There were some shifts in other conferences. Miami took a big hit when they lost to Georgia Tech. Ole Miss got itself into the mix by beating Georgia. And the Bulldogs, at the moment find themselves on the outside looking in for this week's College Football Playoff Prediction.

Miami still makes the field because they are the beneficiaries of the ACC barely being a Power Conference. If they can beat SMU in the conference title game, they can still make the playoffs, though they did drop as far as they could in this scenario.

Like the ACC, the Big 12 is very obviously a one-bid league. The Stormin Mormons of BYU almost put their College Football Playoff hopes in jeopardy against Utah, but they managed to come back and stay in the hunt. Meanwhile, the Big Ten and SEC are the big powers with four bids each.
