The Nebraska Cornhuskers volleyball team can do no worse than tie for the Big Ten title after their rousing win and Wisconsin’s stunning upset.

The top-ranked Nebraska volleyball team continued its dominant season by sweeping Michigan in their final home match, winning 25-15, 25-12, 25-20.

This victory and Wisconsin’s upset loss to Purdue secured the Huskers at least a share of the Big Ten title.

The Huskers displayed an impressive performance with a .368% hitting efficiency, far surpassing Michigan’s .047%. Notably, Andi Jackson and Bekka Allick achieved hitting percentages of at least .700%.

Leading the team in kills were Jackson and freshman phenom Harper Murray with nine each. Lexi Rodriguez contributed 15 digs, while Bergen Reilly recorded 28 assists. With a perfect record of 26-0, Nebraska has three regular-season tilts remaining, starting with a match against Iowa on Sunday.

Nebraska Cornhuskers survive and advance

The 5th-seed Nebraska soccer team advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament with a thrilling, final minutes 2-1 victory over Tennessee.

Sarah Weber’s goal just before halftime gave the Huskers a 1-0 lead, but Tennessee equalized early in the second half.

The match seemed destined for overtime until Ella Guyott scored the game-winner with just 1:01 left, marking her first career goal. Nebraska (16-3-3) will host UC Irvine at Hibner Stadium on Sunday at 1 p.m. for the next round, following UC Irvine’s 2-1 victory over No. 8 seed Gonzaga.

Nebraska Cornhuskers football team headed in right direction

The last two weeks for Matt Rhule and company haven’t been great. Marcus Satterfield has gotten himself back on the hotseat.

Nebraska has lost two straight after needing just one more win to make a bowl game. And Matt Rhule has looked a bit more stressed than he did just a few weeks ago.

With all those things being true, it would be understandable if Nebraska Cornhuskers fans were feeling a bit down about the state of the program. However, Corn Nation‘s latest fan reaction poll shows that whopping 91 percent of fans believe the program is headed in the right direction. That despite just 49 percent believe they’re going bowling.
