The Nebraska Cornhuskers football team’s 2024 recruiting class is moving in the wrong direction as running back Kewan Lacy reopens his process.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers suffered their second decommitment in a week and fans have to be wondering just what is going on with the Huskers recruiting class at this point. First it was Callen Barta and on Thursday it was Kewan Lacy.
Of the two lost commits, Lacy is the more painful one. Not only was he the only Nebraska football running back commit but was also one of the most talented gets in the entire class.
If there is one thing that blunted the loss of Lacy it was that it seemed like it wasn’t all that sudden. Nebraska Cornhuskers coaches seemed to know there was a chance the running back was wavering. There was talk that Ole Miss had entered the picture in a big way.
Lacy didn’t announce where he was going, if he’s going anywhere at the moment. However, it certainly seems like there’s a pretty good chance that he’ll eventually end up with the SEC school.
