The Nebraska football team takes on the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday. What time is this game and how can people watch and listen to it?

It’s actually somewhat interesting that the Nebraska football game against Michigan is not a prime time matchup. I suppose that’s a pretty good indication of where the Huskers’ program still is compared to the other Blue Blood teams in the country.

When Nebraska joined the Big Ten, it’s a safe bet that games against teams like Jim Harbaugh’s boys are what they envisioned. They probably weren’t envisioning being 17.5-point underdogs and being written off as another bump in the road for the Wolverines’ march to a national title.

Of course, that doesn’t mean that the Nebraska football team has no chance, when they take on Michigan, they’ll be doing so at home, in front of a fanbase that wants to make things as uncomfortable as possible for the visitors. An upset against the second-ranked team in the country would be amazing.

Matt Rhule and his coaches understand that. They’re hoping they can catch lightning in a bottle. Maybe catch Michigan looking past them a little. Maybe even crush the hopes of another team the way the Huskers’ hopes have been crushed so often in the last few years.

Nebraska football vs Michigan: what time is the game?

The Huskers and Wolverines will square off at 2:30 pm on Saturday afternoon. Despite the Cornhuskers being just 2-2 on the season, this is likely going to be billed as one of the top games of the afternoon slate, thanks in large part to the title aspirations of UM.

The Nebraska football game will be broadcast on Fox at 2:30 pm as the network signed a deal with the Big Ten to televise these conference tilts a few years ago.

Here’s hoping Nebraska football can make it a game and make it a worthwhile watch.
