There were a couple of former Nebraska Cornhuskers stars who are still repping the pipeline in the NFL in impressive ways.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers may not have as many former players in the NFL as they’d like but when talking about the ones that are there, plenty represented their old school quite well this weekend.

That’s especially true when talking about those repping ” The Pipeline.” For those somehow unfamiliar, that was the nickname for the Huskers’ offensive line back in the heydays of Nebraska football.

The pipeline isn’t what it once was, but there are still some former Nebraska football players who are doing quite well playing on the offensive line at the next level.

Cam Jurgens is right at the top of the list in that regard. While he played center for the Huskers, he’s been converted to offensive guard for the Philadelphia Eagles. He appeared in 77 offensive snaps and seven snaps on special teams while making his second consecutive start for the Eagles.

Then there’s Nick Gates, who plays for Jurgens’ divisional rival, the Washington Commanders. Gates played in every offensive snap for Washington in their 35-33 win over the Denver Broncos.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers’ offensive line hasn’t been very good for a while, but there are some former Huskers who are doing quite well.
