The Nebraska football team is preparing for its season opener, but it’s also working on adding players to future teams, and Conor Booth is the latest.

Booth’s commitment to Nebraska football isn’t exactly a shock. The Huskers are the only FBS offer the running back out of Bishop Neuman currently holds.

For that matter, it doesn’t appear there have been too many FCS offers on his resume yet. Of course, that doesn’t mean that Booth isn’t deserving of a Nebraska football offer. It just means the book isn’t out on him yet.

Under head coach Matt Rhule, the Nebraska football team has been the first offer for a number of players. And it seems as though the coaching staff are pretty good judges of character. It’s easy to forget that the Huskers were the first to come calling for Omaha Central’s Caleb Pyfrom.

Booth also appears to be further proof that Rhule and his coaches are making sure they lock up the state of Nebraska in future recruiting classes.

Nebraska football adds 2025 commit Conor Booth

The Huskers’ latest addition has been told by coaches that they’re looking at him as both a running back and fullback-type prospect, according to On3. Certainly, he’s a tough runner who has some serious skills and good enough speed to rack up more than 900 yards rushing in his sophomore season.

Last season, Booth had 18 touchdowns and averaged 13.4 yards per carry. But he wasn’t just a weapon for Bishop Neuman on the ground. He also had four catches and went for 100 yards and a touchdown. He was also a kick returner and the team’s punter.

Booth is not just the Nebraska football team’s third commit in the 2025 class, but he’s also the third in-state prospect to give his pledge to the Huskers.

Conor Booth joins Millard North’s Caden VerMaas and Omaha North’s Tyson Terry as future members of the Nebraska football program.
