The Nebraska football team is having a massive recruiting weekend and one of its biggest visitors is a 2025 receiver that is among the best in the class.
Fall camp is about to kick into gear for the Nebraska football team. Before it does, the Huskers have one last big recruiting weekend.
Quite a few of the attendees for this weekend are players that have already committed to the Nebraska football program. It seems Matt Rhule and company are making sure those that have given their word are locked down and not about to wander.
However, there are a few players that aren’t yet Husker commits. There are a few guys who Rhule and his coaches are hoping they can add to the incredible recruiting run they’ve been on for the last month or so. Andrew Marsh is one of those players.
Marsh is one of the top players in the 2025 recruiting class. At his highest, he’s considered the fifth-best receiver in the class. At his lowest, he’s still in the top ten of pass catchers.
And now Marsh is going to be in Lincoln to take in an approach by the Nebraska football coaches that has worked on so many of the top players in the 2024 class. While it seems unlikely that Marsh will leave town committed to the Huskers, but the coaching staff has a chance to make some big-time inroads.
Nebraska football going after big WR
Marsh is rated as a composite 4-star wide receiver prospect that has some of the biggest programs in the country vying for his services. Offers have come from Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma, and LSU, among others. The Nebraska football team is now firmly in the mix with the unofficial visit.
He could be attending The Cookout with a potential quarterback teammate. The Nebraska football program will also be hosting 2025 quarterback Carson Boyd. Perhaps Rhule can make them a package deal.
