Evidence is mounting that the Nebraska Cornhuskers have faced Pat Fitzgerald for the last time. And that is definitely a good thing.

It didn’t take long for the big story about Pat Fitzgerald and the Northwestern Wildcats to get worse. Things are now moving fast, and it certainly looks like some allegations that some dismissed as baseless have a bit more weight.

One day after a massive report came out that detailed the hazing incidents at Northwestern, more evidence is being presented. This also comes after the Wildcats football team released an email that denied everything. However, there are now some indications that it’s been going on after all.

ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg took to Twitter on Sunday to share some evidence he was sent by the same player who brought the allegations against Fitzgerald in the first place.

"“The former Northwestern player sent ESPN a screenshot of a whiteboard, which he says was in the middle of the locker room. Image is headlined “SHREK’S LIST” and includes a list of players’ names and several bulleted items, including “naked slingshot” and “naked bear crawls.”"

This same player claimed that anyone who has been with Northwestern from 2020 to 2023 knew this was going on. What is being termed as evidence seems to have been enough to make Northwestern’s leadership take a second look at the two-week suspension of Fitzgerald.

Nebraska Cornhuskers in a couple of the season’s best contests

Sports Illustrated put together a list of the 10 most interesting games of the season, and the Nebraska football team made the list a couple of times. The first game on the list is their season-opening tilt against the Minnesota Golden Gophers. The Huskers’ contest against the Michigan Wolverines is on the list as well. It’s gonna be a fun season.
