If the oddsmakers are to be believed, it may not be that long before the Nebraska football team sees Oregon as a conference rival.

The Big Ten is going to be adding two Pac 12 teams to its ranks starting in the 2024 season. But there’s been talk for quite a while that the Nebraska football team might eventually get some more opponents from whence USC and UCLA came in the not-too-distant future.

Just which Pac 12 team is going to be the next to make the move to the Big Ten? There’s been rumors that it might be Washington. Others think it could be Arizona and/or Arizona State. But now there are actual odds on who is coming over and the Oregon Ducks are officially the front runners.

Bookies.com put out the odds for the best chance to land in the Big Ten and the Nebraska football team should apparently get ready to hear some quacking. The Ducks are in the lead with +200, which means they have a 33 percent chance of being the team that makes the jump.

Following close behind them as the next team that could become a Nebraska football rival is indeed the Washington Huskies at +250 and a 28.6 percent chance of making the jump.

Nebraska football could face off against an ACC school

After Oregon and Washington, Bookies.com believes that the next Big Ten team is going to come from a different conference altogether. The North Carolina Tarheels are in a tie with the Kansas Jayhawks with odds of +300 (25 percent chance) of joining the B1G.

KU especially might be a bit of a surprise since the Big 12 is said to be looking to add teams rather than see any jump ship. The Tar Heels make more sense since there has been some upheaval around the ACC recently.

After Kansas and North Carolina, the odds of another team joining Nebraska football in the Big Ten drops by quite a bit. The next highest chance is Virginia at +550 which translates to about 15 percent.
