Nebraska Football: Dylan Raiola kicks off massive March
Can Nebraska football land Dylan Raiola this month? Can Georgia, USC, or Oregon? It appears that all of the schools in the sweepstakes for the 5-star quarterback are about to make their final pitches.
Raiola just recently kicked off what is going to be a pretty hectic few weeks. When the smoke clears, and the world turns the calendar to April, the Chandler, Arizona, prospect might have finally picked his new school. The assumption is that this choice will stick more than his last one when he was an Ohio State commit and expected to land with the Buckeyes next signing day.
While Nebraska football wait for Raiola to come back to Lincoln, he’s currently wrapping up a visit to the Peach State. Starting on March 17, the quarterback took in both Georgia and Georgia Tech.
His official review of those visits hasn’t hit the web yet, but there’s no reason to think he won’t have plenty of positive things to say about what he saw of both Georgia Tech and Georgia. There was a time of course when the Bulldogs were suddenly the odds-on favorites to land the top QB prospect in the 2024 class. Despite winning two national titles, it appears that Kirby Smart and company have fallen to the back of the pack.

Next weekend is the big one for Nebraska football. He’ll be in Lincoln from March 23 to March 25 during a Junior Day weekend that has some of the best prospects in the country all converging on Memorial Stadium.
For those looking to see if he might be leaning anywhere at this point, it’s worth noting that he’ll see what Nebraska football has to offer once again when he comes back to town for the program’s Spring Game on April 22.
At the moment, everything is expected to wrap up with a Spring Game visit to see the Oregon Ducks on April 29.
In the past few weeks, the quarterback has also taken an unofficial to see USC and Lincoln Riley and it was after this visit that Husker fans got their latest splash of cold water. The Trojans are, at the moment, considered the favorite to land the 5-star signal caller. Though so far those predictions appear to be based mostly on the fact that he visited the campus at all.
For now, Nebraska football fans just have to sit and wait. But the waiting game might not last much longer. This year, spring showers might make Husker hopes for a return to prominence bloom.
