With March Madness really about to ramp up for the 2023 season, it’s time to start looking at where those programs that are always a part of it will play.

March Madness is officially getting started this week. Small conferences and women’s basketball are getting revved up and starting the process of selecting their conference champions. As usual, there is a question of just what teams are going to be making the tournament this year.

When those teams go to the Big Dance, they’ll be looking to head to the Final Four eventually. This year, that means that they’ll be finishing out the season by playing in Houston at the NRG Stadium. The Final Four this year is going to take place on April 1 and April 3. With the national champion being crowed as the best of the best on April 3.

It’s unlikely that the champ is going to be Rice. They’d have to win the conference tournament and then go on an insane run. But when playing in these sorts of arenas, there’s always the chance that a team is going to get home-court advantage.

While the 2023 tournament will almost certainly not involve the home team, what about the 2024 and 2025 seasons?

The March Madness 2024 site will be staged in Arizona State’s home site of State Farm Stadium in Phoenix, Arizona. Next year’s tourney will wrap up on April 6 and April 8 of 2024.

The 2025 March Madness site will be at the Alamo Dome in San Antonio.

It’s worth pointing out for anyone who is looking for tickets, that they tend to go fast. That’s actually why the sites are announced so far in advance. People can go out and get tickets for March Madness as soon as they’re available and can make plans for travel before the games are set.
