Nebraska football recruiting could get some big wins on Tuesday as it could be landing no less than two new commits at the Under Armour game.

To that end, it appears as though the game is going to be worth watching on Tuesday evening. The problem of course is that it begins at a time when most Nebraska football fans will either still be at work, or just on the way home and stuck in traffic.

The Under Armour All-America Game kicks off at 4 pm Central on ESPN. Before that, Ethan Nation will be announcing his school. The 3-star Georgia defensive back prospect is slated to announce his commitment just before the game.

As this game is well practiced at high school kids announcing where they will be headed to college, it seems likely there will even be a little spot where Nation can put on the hat of his next team. Most of the major recruiting services believe that when he does put on that hat, it will be representing Nebraska Football.

If Nation does pull the trigger for the Huskers, it will be a big win for Nebraska football recruiting. He’s been offered by the likes of Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and Miami. When looking at who the Huskers would be beating out, he might be one of the biggest gets of the 2023 class.

Nebraska football recruiting will have to wait

Once Nation has pulled the trigger, Husker fans won’t want tune away too long. That’s because in the fourth quarter, Cameron Lenhardt will be announcing where he’ll be attending college.

Like Nation, Lenhardt is considered a heaving lean to the Cornhuskers. He would definitely be another big Nebraska football recruiting get if for no other reason than because they had him before.

He committed to the Huskers back when Scott Frost was the head coach. He decommitted shortly after Matt Rhule was named the new guy leading the program. However, like Malachi Coleman before him, he made it clear that didn’t mean he was out on the Huskers. He simply had to be shown there was a vision for him.

Rhule and company worked hard to convince him. Even Malachi Coleman has been recruiting him. Lenhardt will be pulling the trigger in the fourth quarter of the game.

If things go the way that Husker fans are hoping before and during the game, it will indeed be a very big day for Nebraska football recruiting.
