It should be no surprise that now that Matt Rhule is officially the Nebraska football head coach, the drama isn’t over. After all, while the Huskers have their head man, there’s still plenty to sort out. That includes just where former interim head coach Mickey Joseph will end up. On Saturday night, it seems as if his wife, Priscilla Joseph, gave a hint with a cryptic tweet that had her followers trying to figure out just what it meant.

This isn’t the first time that Priscilla Joseph has done this kind of thing. She seems to like to get Nebraska football fans going by interacting on social media. Sometimes, it seems she’s being less cryptic than people thought. Other times she’s laying down a trail of breadcrumbs but not sharing where that trail might go. Such is the case with her Saturday night Tweet. It’s clear she’s trying to tell fans something. There’s just no clarity yet as to what.

The tweet in question was short and to the point. But it had quite a bit of meaning behind it.

“The truth shall set us free,” it read. The post was accompanied by a winking emoji.

It took no time at all for Nebraska football fans to wonder just what she was trying to say with the tweet. It should surprise no one that some thought she was saying something positive. Others believed the “free” might not be great. Others were just straight confused.

While Priscilla Joseph seems to have offered up quite the riddle for Nebraska football fans, it doesn’t seem like the guessing game will go on that long. Matt Rhule is scheduled to attend an official press conference on Monday afternoon.

One of the first questions Rhule is likely asked as the Nebraska football head coach, is whether he’ll be keeping Mickey Joseph on staff.
