Demariyon Houston

Demariyon Houston is certainly another talented player on this list. Touted as a four-star prospect during his recruitment, he absolutely tore up the high school gridiron.

His senior season was particularly notable. He caught 35 passes for 772 yards and 11 touchdowns. Perhaps his biggest asset was his ability to spread the field. He averaged more than 22 yards per reception. He was named a first-team All-Oklahoma selection by USA Today.

He was originally committed to Texas, but he chose to sign with Nebraska on Signing Day in 2019.

Nance can make things happen after the catch. Houston can spread the field. He has the type of speed and playmaking ability to be regarded highly as a deep-threat. This is big for Nebraska moving forward as they do not have a lot of those in their program.

Now, they are going to get some. Houston certainly falls into that category. I will be interested to see how he can change the Nebraska football offense and what he can do with these quarterbacks. These signal-callers can certainly throw the ball deep. That will be playing right into Houston’s hands, literally.
