The Nebraska football team lost its second straight in 2018 and sixth straight overall. Check out if any Huskers stood out for good or bad performances.

Two games, two losses for the Nebraska football team. This is not how the season was supposed to go.

Husker fans were able to swallow a loss to Colorado because they were a Pac 12 team that had forged a blowout win in their other game.

Against the Troy Trojans, the Cornhuskers were supposed to bounce back. The Sun Belt team was supposed to be good enough to give Scott Frost‘s boys a challenge but not good enough to knock them off in Memorial Stadium.

This is exactly the kind of game Nebraska isn’t supposed to lose anymore. It turns out getting a program that was bad enough to post a 4-8 record a year ago isn’t that easy.

So the question now is, was there a unit that outplayed its teammates? Was there a unit that needs to have some serious work done if the Nebraska football team is going to win a game this year?

The answer to both those questions is yes. There wasn’t a ton to go right on Saturday, but there were some Huskers that shone and some Huskers that are going to need to step it up if they want to continue to see the field.

Check out our report card grades for the performances of the Nebraska football team. Who stood out, who stunk, we’ve got it all here. Let us know if you agree and where you think we got it wrong.
