The Nebraska football team’s secondary is getting better thanks to first-year players. That and other kernels in this morning’s Go Big Read.

The talk of fall camp for the Nebraska football team has been how much better the secondary has been compared to the spring. While there are likely veterans getting better, Hail Varsity has been quick to point out it’s the new guys that are really making a difference.

That makes quite a bit of sense. Scott Frost and company have worked hard since they arrived in Lincoln to change the roster.

Those changes have especially focused on the lines and the defensive backfield. It looks like it’s working. That and other kernels in this morning’s Go Big Read.
