Nebraska recruiting is going well in the SEC states. That’s certainly the case when it comes to Kenny Logan who named the Huskers in his Top 6.

Nebraska recruiting in the last few months has seemed to zero in on a couple of different position groups. Kenny Logan will likely fall into one of those position groups despite being listed officially as an “athlete.”

Logan, who most likely projects as a free safety at the next level recently announced the six teams he’s going to be considering from this point forward. The Florida native announced the group on his Twitter page earlier this week.

The Cornhuskers made the cut, along with Ole Miss, Auburn, USF and Louisville. There is a school that Scott Frost and company are quite familiar with as the sixth team on the list.

Logan has also listed UCF as a finalist, making for an interesting recruiting battle as we head closer to the fall. So far, the new Husker coaching staff hasn’t lost a recruit to the Knights when the two schools have gone toe-to-toe (as it should be).

Logan is listed as a 3-star prospect by 247Sports’ composite rankings but he’s someone who appears to be flying a bit under the radar when it comes to recruiting services.

He’s not a recruit that is going to help Nebraska football’s recruiting rankings all that much should he eventually commit, but he’s certainly gotten attention from some big-name schools.

Coming into today, Logan has 26 total offers. That includes schools like Alabama and Miami not making the cut for his final six.

It’s safe to say this is one of those players that has an offer list that is quite a bit more impressive than his recruiting rankings would indicate. With Auburn and Ole Miss still being in play, it’s safe to say those running the Nebraska recruiting efforts have their work cut out for them in getting Kenny Logan to Lincoln.
