The Nebraska basketball team has been out of the spotlight for a while, but its head coach dished out some impressive offers this week.

Things have been pretty quiet for the Nebraska basketball team over the last few weeks. Tim Miles and company got the news they were getting two of their best players back and then there was quite a bit of quiet.

The slow period of the summer appears to be over. The Cornhuskers have officially offered scholarships to two prospects and is reportedly taking a close look at a third.

While the Nebraska football team is the one that tends to get most of the attention these days, it’s important to point out that we’re moving ever closer to the Nebrasketball season as well.

That means we’re moving ever closer to a season that is one of the most anticipated in the history of the program. Coming off a year where the Cornhuskers fell just short of the NCAA tournament, they’re considered a lock to make it to the big dance this year with the return of James Palmer and  Isaac Copeland.

In order to keep the momentum, it appears the Huskers are going after some of the best players in the 2019 class. The Nebraska basketball team will have a tough fight on their hands if they really hope to land any of the three, but it’s interesting to see the team train their sights on these players.
