Nebraska recruiting this weekend seems to have focused quite a bit on the offensive line, either commits or new prospects.

Nebraska recruiting focus over the last few days appears to be all about the offensive line. Whether that’s the commitment of Matthew Anderson or going after linemen who can help the team in the future, it’s been a position group the Cornhuskers staff has been looking at hard.

When looking at the ideal recruit to bring to Lincoln, Turner Corcoran fits the bill. An offensive tackle out of Lawrence, Kansas, Corcoran turned to Twitter to make it clear that he enjoyed his visit to Memorial Stadium.

Corcoran might be in the Cornhuskers’ backyard but the Nebraska football team is going to have its work cut out for it if it wants to reel him in. 247Sports has him as the best player in the state of Kansas for the 2020 class.

Rivals has the four-star prospect as the 11th best offensive tackle in the class. That kind of talent has obviously gotten quite a bit of attention from the powerhouse schools.

Despite not being able to sign on the dotted line until December of 2020 at the earliest, Corcoran has already piled up 14 offers. Ohio State, Michigan and Clemson are among the best teams on the list.

After what was apparently a very positive visit to the Huskers, Nebraska recruiting is going to need to keep up the pressure over the next few months in order to stay in the mix.

Getting the offensive tackle to Lincoln has to be considered a very good step in the right direction if Turner Corcoran is eventually going to be part of the Nebraska football team.
