Rumors surrounding former Nebraska football star Ndamukong Suh have got at least one of his potential future teammates rather fired up.

While no one knows when former Nebraska football star Ndamukong Suh is going to sign with his new team, there is one potential teammate on the New York Jets who apparently really hopes the defensive lineman joins him in the Big Apple.

Jamal Adams a young and talented defensive back recently talked to NFL.com about his hopes that Suh is coming to the Jets.

“He definitely clogs up the middle of the defense,” Adams told the website. “He stops the run. He’s the quarterback’s worst nightmare. He does a little bit of everything. There’s a reason why he was one of the highest paid defensive tackles, if not the highest paid.”

Adams added that he thinks Suh would make the Jets defense something that would be the talk of the league. While he’s plenty excited, it should be pointed out that there isn’t any indication when the big defender is going to pick where he’s going to land.

There had been at least some indications that Suh was leaning towards either the Titans or the Rams. Reports that the Jets have offered the biggest contract has muddied the waters a bit.

The fact that the former Husker hasn’t said when he plans to decide is also making people a bit antsy. At the moment, the defensive end is one of the most sought-after free agents in the NFL.

It appears we’ve reached the part of his courtship where players on the teams he’s visiting are campaigning to get the defensive lineman on board. Jamal Adams is the first who has gone quite this public but it will be interesting to see if they sway his choice.

Ndamukong Suh hasn’t chosen his team yet but it appears to be good news for Nebraska football fans that he’s getting as much attention as he is, especially when it comes to getting attention from other defensive recruits.
