Nebraska football linebacker target wants to visit during Spring Game
Nebraska football could have a big recruiting advantage with their Spring Game.
Spencer Lytle is the kind of prospect you want to get into Lincoln as soon as possible. That’s why it’s good news that it appears the linebacker wants to take the Nebraska football program in during its Spring Game.
The glorified scrimmage has always been a good recruiting tool, because it’s not unheard of to see near capacity crowds. This year, it turns out it will indeed be a capacity crowd.
The excitement over Scott Frost and the offense he is going to run had fans buying Spring Game tickets at a record pace. If the Huskers can indeed convince Lytle to do everything he can to come to town on that day, it could go a long way towards landing a commit.

Lytle recently talked to Land of 10 and said he definitely wants to come see the Cornhuskers at some point this spring. “Still nailing down a date, but it will be in the the next 30-to-60 days. The spring game would be perfect.” He told the website.
Despite already racking up 33 offers, the linebacker also told the website that the Huskers are one of his top schools. Lytle went so far as to say that the Cornhuskers were one of those schools he was really hoping to earn an offer from.
The 3-star prospect has said that he’s wanted the opportunity to show what he can do to Frost and company. The good news in that message is that even if Lytle can’t get here on April 21, all is not lost.
While it would be nice to blow this prospect away with a massive crowd at the Spring Game, the Nebraska football team just needs to sell itself. It appears if Frost can help do that, there could be a commit coming soon after a visit.
