The true freshman wide receiver has no shortage of confidence in his abilities and from what he showed against Florida Atlantic, he has the talent to back up that swagger.
His first catch as a Husker was a touchdown and he had the longest punt return (15 yards) since Jordan Westerkamp returned one for 17 yards against Michigan in 2013.
Nebraska needs to find a way to continue to flip the field, even against FCS-level opponents, and the easiest way to do that is with players the quality of Pierson-El.
