For the first time ever, Nebraska will be playing on Saturday in the NCAA Tournament after thr first round after the Huskers took down Troy in dominant fashion, 76-47. Thanks to an astounding performance by guard Pryce Sandfort, especially from beyond the arc, the Huskers will now face Vanderbilt in the Round of 32.
It won't be easy for either team, especially from three-pointer because both have great shooters from beyond the arc. Sandfort will most likely be a point of emphasis for the Commodores, but Nebraska will need to keep track of Vanderbilt's Tyler Nickel as well.
Sandfort has made 120 three-pointers this season, but Nickel has made 105 three-pointers of his own and could turn out to be a problem for Nebraska. Nickel spoke about the upcoming matchup with the Huskers and alluded to what he thinks about Sandfort.
"He's a sniper, just not letting him get comfortable, not letting him get free, easy catches and stuff," Nickel said. "They are elite at getting him looks and him getting his feet set and letting it fly."
Nebraska's Pryce Sandfort has made 120 3-pointers this season. Vanderbilt's Tyler Nickel isn't far behind with 105 3's. Nickel shoots 40% from beyond the arc.

Nebraska and Vanderbilt can both shoot the three-ball at a high level
It could be a very high-scoring game between Nebraska and Vanderbilt as the Huskers have shot 35.3% from beyond the arc, and the Commodores are right there at 35.5% from beyond the arc.
Both of these teams can make those shots at a high level, and when they get hot, it is hard to stop the momentum. Sandfort alone is shooting a stllar 40.8% from beyond the arc while Nickel is close behind him at 39.9%.
If it's a close game at the end, both teams will be looking to get the ball in the hands of their sharpshooters, but either guy could also put the game out of reach for the other.
