Nebraska vs. Stanford

The last team that Nebraska has played but never beaten is Stanford. However, the lone meeting between these programs came in 1941 so not many Cornhuskers are too bitter about it.

That 21-13 Stanford win came in the 1941 Rose Bowl. It was played before 92,000 fans.

That season, the Huskers started off with a loss at Minnesota. However, they would then rattle off eight wins in a row to get to No. 7 in the polls. Unfortunately, their loss to the No. 2-ranked Cardinal ended their season on a sour note.

With Stanford set to join the ACC in 2024, there might be a chance these programs could meet again in a bowl game. They may also look to set up a regular-season series in the future though one is not currently on the books.

There you have it. This is the complete list of teams that Nebraska has played but never beaten. With the changing landscape of college football, who knows when these series (other than the USC series) will be played again? Hopefully, when they are, the Huskers will find a way to get in the win column.
