When the Nebraska football team takes the field for the first time in the 2024 season, they're expecting to win. In fact, they're expecting to win more games this season than they have in a long, long time. And if they accomplish that goal, there is likely one player that's going to have a bigger impact than most.

I'm not the only one who thinks that Dylan Raiola is going to be one heck of an impact player for the 2024 season. It turns out that 247Sports believes the former 5-star quarterback is going to have such an impact on the Nebraska football team that he'll be among the most impactful players in the country.

The website put together what it is calling the "All-Impact Team." This is a group of players that 247 believes will make some real noise when the new college football season finally kicks off.

The reason why Raiola was included in that group is likely pretty obvious to Nebraska football fans. But it's still interesting to see how college football analysts see the Huskers shiny new quarterback.

"Heinrich Haarberg will have a chance to earn the starting job entering 2024, but Nebraska didn't sign Raiola to sit. He'll be given every chance in the spring and into the fall to emerge as QB1. Raiola is the future in Lincoln. Expect the Huskers to begin that era of the program sooner rather than later"

Perhaps the most noteworthy part of that blurb is that the site believes that Haarberg is going to have a real chance to start for the Huskers. Most fans have already accepted the idea that Raiola is going to be a freshman starter.

Of course, Haarberg did get plenty of experience as the starting quarterback in 2023. It's clear he's willing to be a leader. But for now, it looks like Raiola will be the starter. And make an impact for Nebraska football.
